Giant’s Gold Slot Machine. Hot on the heels of the first series of Colossal Reels slots by WMS, Giants Gold continues the familiar theme, but with a few new twists and a slightly different feel from the first generation. As opposed to the first series, which were very 'dark' in their nature, Giants Gold. Red rooster slot machine online. Symbols on Giants Gold Slot Machine. Symbols are varied and include the cow, goose (and separately the golden eggs it lays), the giant (who covers several rows), the harp, magic beans and the beanstalk. I do not recall a scantily clad woman sitting on the beanstalk from the original story, though you’ll find one here.
Fairy tale themes are definitely one of the in things in the online slot industry at the moment and Williams Interactive is always on hand to put their very own twist on the leading genres. The link is a little broader than on games from the likes of Microgaming or Net Entertainment, but Giant’s Gold.

Fans of the colossal reel games Spartacus and Kiss, will be pleased to see another addition to that range in the form of the nursery rhyme themed Giants Gold. Based on Jack and the Beanstalk (no relation to the NetEnt slot) this is slightly different to the other two in ways other than its theme. These big reel games are very popular on the casino floor but less so online, given the relatively low variance and their reputation for small but regular pay-outs. That’s all well and good if you are whiling away a break in a poker tournament in your local casino, not so much if you are looking to be thrilled with big wins. The two reel sets are still in play, so there’s a pretty stock 5x3 video slot reel on the left and then the 5x12 colossal reel on the right. Wins on the second reel pay out x2 in the free spins round which does make it the more valuable reel of the two overall even without all the extra lines on offer. Much like the first two games in the series there is a transferring stacked wild in play. A wild on any of the 5 reels on the first reel set will be duplicated in the same position on the 2nd. On the other two games this was a key to gaining any form of one off large win, in conjunction usually with a free spins bonus round. Where Giants Gold steps out a little, is that it offers higher variance than the Kiss Slot and, a higher RTP (by just a touch) than Spartacus. It still tends to only pay out big on lucky streaks and re-triggers of the free spins round but, it feels more generous overall than either of the other slots do. It has to be said that the base game is slightly less entertaining, whilst there is a couple of nice bespoke sound effects nothing really happens of interest until you trigger the bonus round – at which point the slot suddenly wakes up. Rather than the 8-25 spins you get on the other titles, Giants Gold’s scatters are individual and can grant you between 8 and 100 spins – that’s a massive increase. Entertainment wise the spins round is also the place to be, away from the relaxed tone of the base game the spins round has a jarring T-Rex style backing track which plays for the duration. Quite what 70’s glam rock has to do with nursery rhymes is beyond me, but it is much more fun than the very placid normal game mode. Overall, Giants Gold has a little more in the way of real gambling action than other colossal reel games. I thing WMS probably had the online market in mind when designing that into the game math and it shows by the fact it is stocked by a number of decent online vendors as a real cash slot. For pure free-play fun, I’d still prefer the original games for their themes, for cash play, well, this is the most rewarding of the trio in a number of ways.
